Digital Sales Coordinator

WCOV-TV is seeking a Digital Sales Coordinator.  WCOV is a part of Allen Media Broadcasting and operates as the FOX Affiliate in the Montgomery/Selma TV DMA. The Digital Sales Coordinator position provides support to Multimedia Marketing Executives and Sales Managers with activities, projects, and management of digital campaign elements using various project management tools.     

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Use project management and internal campaign trafficking tools to schedule and process digital advertising orders and requests.

·         Process insertion of digital campaigns utilizing station and 3^rd party operating systems.

·         Support the Digital Sales Manager (DSM) and Multimedia Marketing Executives (MME) in gathering, oversight, fulfillment, and reporting on all digital campaigns.

·         Inform Sales Managers of any critical fulfillment/workflow issues.

·         Attend internal sales team meetings and pre/post strategy meetings with DSM and MME.

·         Enter all digital orders in appropriate platforms.

·         Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all current and new Pulse Local Marketing digital product suite offerings.

·         Complete other Sales Department duties as assigned.

DIGITAL SALES COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS:

·         Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Power Point, Word, and Excel, as well as Google Suite of Products including Google Ad Manager.

·         Experience with Canva or other graphic design tools is a plus!

·         Comfortable working under tight deadlines, with the ability to multi-task is a must.

·         Digital marketing experience preferred.

·         Knowledge of social, video, and other forms of digital marketing preferred.

·         Excellent communication, organization, and people skills required.

WCOV-TV, Montgomery’s FOX Affiliate, is seeking a Broadcast Media Sales Representative

Job Summary

The right sales professional for this position must have Broadcast Media Sales experience, be self-motivated, and be able to prepare effective marketing plans for local and regional clients using television advertising.

REQUIREMENTS

·         Three years’ experience in television broadcast media sales or equivalent experience

·         Effective cost per point and cost per thousand negotiation skills

·         Able to work with Regional and Local Advertising Agencies

·         Strong presentation and closing skills

·         Ability and drive to generate New Local Direct business

·         Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships

·         The position consists of outside and inside sales

·         Must have a valid driver’s license
