Can you help make a news operation that’s already a dominant #1 even stronger?  KDRV-TV, the Allen Media station in Medford, Oregon, is looking for a news director ready to meet the challenge.  Our next ND will work closely with the GM, other department managers, and the news team to better our position across all the content platforms we serve – on-air and digital.  This position is responsible for strategic planning, preparing and managing a budget, as well as recruiting, hiring and developing members of the news team.  In addition to possessing strong organizational skills, our news director must be a hands-on leader with a successful track record as a mentor and motivator.  Previous experience teaching and leading staff as a news director, assistant news director, executive producer, managing editor, assignment manager, or senior producer is required. College degree in journalism, communications or related field required.
