Multimedia Journalist
Action news Now, KHSL and KNVN TV station (the local CBS and NBC networks) in the Chico/Redding market is looking for a Multimedia Journalist to help take our newscasts to the next level.
View Job DetailsWe're looking for a full-time multimedia journalist and producer to report live in our morning newscasts. You'll be a crucial part of our team, covering breaking news, and pre-producing content, Monday through Friday for 2 full hours of news. It's a one-man-band role, with the expectation that you write and edit your own video and come up with enterprising stories that impact your community on a daily basis. You'll also need to post on social media and on our website. You'll learn to produce and serve as the fill-in morning show producer. Candidates should have experience or education in journalism. B.A. preferred but exceptions will be considered.
Salary- $39,499/annually
$18.99/hourly
