KIMT-TV is now accepting applications for internships in our Rochester, Minnesota newsroom.
The KIMT internship programs augment the educational development of those studying for
careers in broadcasting. These are available to juniors and seniors enrolled in institutions of
higher learning to gain experience in the station’s day-to-day operations. This is a paid
opportunity and it is required that students receive college credit for internship participation.
KIMT is part of Allen Media Broadcasting, current owners of The Weather Channel and over
two dozen television stations across the country. KIMT is the CBS affiliate for both north Iowa
and southern Minnesota. We might be a smaller market, but we offer big-marketing coaching
from some of the top Magid consultants in the business.
