Our Digital Account Executive position will focus on digital product sales ranging from owned and operated advertising, Targeted Display and Video, OTT Streaming Video, YouTube Video, Social Ads, Streaming Audio, Targeted Email and more. The main focus and goal will be to work with businesses and present and close multiple digital opportunities. This Digital Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting new business and grow current accounts, account management and driving revenue through client calls and meetings. Working in a competitive and fast-paced environment allows this individual to succeed and meet their individual revenue goals and contribute to the overall sales team and station goals. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a proven professional sales history. Comfort with cold-calling is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting, lead-generation and development of new accounts
- Secure meetings with high-level decision makers and influencers
- Take on a consultative role and serve as an industry expert to assess client needs and educate on the power of digital media and advertising to enhance business opportunities
- Utilize sales skills to close presentations and pitches
- Strong focus on continuously meeting and exceeding sales goals on a monthly basis
- Collaborate with internal teams to create effective solutions and drive results for clients
- High-level account management with accuracy and attention to detail (including contracting, coordination, follow-through, collections, etc.)
- Work closely with the Digital Sales Manager and Local Sales Manager
Experience:
- 2-3 years of digital media sales experience
- Experience selling OTT and Audience/Programmatic Targeting
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
- Strong consultative sales skills and relationship building
- Self-starter and able to work/learn in a fast paced environment
- Team player
