KEZI 9 News is looking for an energetic, personable Meteorologist who can live our Stormtracker 9 weather brand and provide weather reports in Western Oregon.

The right candidate will produce weather content that is urgent, impactful, interesting and understandable to our viewers. KEZI has the latest technology to help you tell the weather story to viewers utilizing WSI Max Storm system, including MAX Reality and MAX Traffic. Knowledge of this system is preferred. This content is not only produced for television, but digital and social media as well.

A baccalaureate degree in meteorology is preferred along with 1-3 years television experience. Strong preference will be given to candidates with AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal. Must have a clean driving record. A background check and pre-employment drug screen is required.

Western Oregon is beyond beautiful with scenery from the coast to the mountains. We are home to the University of Oregon and Oregon State University. It’s a great place to work hard and play hard with a great group of journalists!
