QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be familiar with Edius or similar editing software. Proficient at linear and nonlinear formats under extreme deadline pressure. Experience or internship in a broadcast television newsroom preferred. Ability to use, transport and lift ENG equipment (approx. 50 lbs). Outstanding interpersonal skills and a team player

Editing stories for multiple content distribution platforms. Creatively editing packages, voiceovers and voiceover/sots, effectively using pictures and natural sound to tell a story, with strong audio/video linkage

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a part-time position; must be flexible to work shifts as assigned including weekends, weeknights, and holidays; rate of pay is hourly and DOE
