Digital Sales Specialist

The Digital Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing digital product packages, implementing and optimizing Digital Campaign and strategizing Digital Tactics and maximizing campaign results.


SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:

·         Responsible for meeting or exceeding the overall station digital and NTR budget

·         Monitor and assist the account executives so that they hit their individual digital NTR budgets

·         Assist account executives with prospecting cold call new businesses and maintenance of client lists.

·         Contribute to a sales environment that is based on “team,” is centered on mutual respect of co-workers, and has a winning culture

·         Update the Local Sales Manager, Director of Sales and General Manager on digital strategies and projects

·         Maintain and update a digital sales calendar to properly plan upcoming digital and NTR sales campaigns

·         Instill a strong digital sales culture within the sales team to ensure the rapid revenue growth of all KEZI 9 digital platforms, specifically the stations’ webpages, mobile apps, and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

·         Work with management personnel to coordinate digital sales plans and promotions

·         Protect and promote station "brand image" within the sales staff; work with Account Executives on presenting a consistent sales message in a professional, courteous, and partnership-building manner

·         Maintain a current understanding of trends in digital sales strategies, technology, training and product offerings within the market and industry, paying special attention to multi-platform sales opportunities

·         Serve as the liaison between KEZI sales and the AMB Corporate Digital team.

·         Complete the insertion order and billing process on all digital sales orders

·         Work with creative services to create all digital ads and creative assets

·         Serve as a public representative of KEZI 9 at community functions, business networking events and station-sponsored events

·         Other duties as assigned by the Vice President & General Manager

 

SKILLS REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Minimum 5+ years Digital Sales experience preferred

·         Innovative mindset

·         Strong judgment, organizational, communication, management and writing skills

·         Thorough understanding of selling content on multiple platforms

·         College degree in journalism, communications or related field preferred

·         Outstanding interpersonal skills; a team player

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

·         Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon driver’s license
