WEEKEND PRODUCER/WEEKDAY REPORTER

The successful candidate will possess excellent news judgment and strong writing skills. One to three years television news experience as a reporter preferred. College degree in journalism or communications. Skilled at non-linear editing and videography. Ability to work under intense deadline pressure. Outstanding interpersonal skills; a team player.
This position is responsible for the overall look and feel of an assigned newscast including production values, pacing, teasing, writing, enterprising, shooting, editing and presenting news stories for multiple distribution platforms, including KEZI 9 News, KEZI 9.2, kezi.com, Facebook, and Twitter. Creatively producing stories and effectively using pictures and natural sound to tell a story, with strong audio/video linkage. Perform live shots from the newsroom and in the field.
This is a full-time position; rate of pay is hourly.
