Engineering/IT Technician
WSIL-TV has an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician.
The IT/Engineering Technician works to maintain the station’s technical infrastructure in support of the company’s goal of providing a quality product to our viewers and clients. He/she works in support of the technical needs of each department within the television station. The IT/Engineering Technician also helps maintains the physical infrastructure of the station. This includes, but is not limited to, buildings, grounds and equipment. WSIL-TV is a 24/7 operation and the Engineering Technician is required to be on-call as needed.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:

Repair, maintenance, installation and configuration of computers, software and network systems

Repair, maintenance, installation and configuration of broadcast studio equipment

Provide technical expertise to station personnel

Facility maintenance

Experience maintaining computer networks is required.
