KDRV-TV has an immediate opening for a Meteorologist

KDRV-TV, the #1 station in Medford, Oregon is looking for a Meteorologist to join our team.  As a member of the StormWatch 12 weather team, you will prepare and deliver weather content across all of our broadcast and digital platforms. The successful candidate is computer savvy (knowledge of WSI is a plus) and has great writing, speaking and organizational skills. A college degree in meteorology or atmospheric sciences is required.

KDRV is the market leader in our region and has been #1 in local news for more than 25 years.  We serve a large coverage area across six counties in Southern Oregon and Northern California. This is a great opportunity to develop your on-air and forecasting skills in a dynamic weather environment with ocean beaches, mountain ranges, and scenic river valleys as microclimates in our coverage area. 

KDRV is located in the beautiful Rogue Valley near the Southern Oregon Wine Trail and is just a short drive away from great hiking, mountain biking, skiing, golfing, fishing, whitewater rafting, the Britt Festival’s concerts under the stars, and the Tony award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival.  If you still need an occasional big city fix, then Portland and San Francisco are just a quick direct flight or a few hours’ drive away.
