Weekend Anchor/Reporter

KWWL, the NBC affiliate serving Eastern Iowa is seeking an experienced Anchor/Reporter for our Weekend Morning Newscast.

If you’re passionate about news, love story telling, and have some anchoring and TV reporting experience, lets talk!

Qualified candidates must have a degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, Communications, or related field. Qualified candidates must have excellent writing and on-camera skills. You’ll have a producer and a team with you on our highly competitive Saturday and Sunday Newscasts.

We’re looking for a serious, creative journalist who is as comfortable in a live ad-lib situation as they are reading a prompter. You’ll anchor our Weekend Evening Newscasts, report three days a week and represent the Station as community events.

The Waterloo-Cedar Rapids-Dubuque-Iowa City market is a great place to live with numerous colleges and universities, good quality of life, low-cost of living, ample recreation and close proximity to Des Moines, Chicago, and Minneapolis.
