As a Sales Coordinator, you will work with Sales Account Executives, Managers, clients, staff, Management, and vendors. Excellent interpersonal skills while working in a team environment is essential. Responsibilities include administrative tasks such as weekly sales reports, updating sales software programs, administration of political advertising, entering sales contracts, providing backup to the other sales assistants, creating sales proposals and covering a multi-station switchboard.
The successful candidate will have excellent command of Microsoft and Google applications, including Gmail, Google Drive, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Attention to detail is required. This is a high-performance team with opportunities for growth.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate scheduling and placement of commercial inventory using WideOrbit Traffic. The ideal candidate has experience in broadcast traffic operations, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily log preparation: Accurately schedule and maintain daily program and commercial logs using WideOrbit Traffic.
- Commercial Inventory Management: Maximize station revenue through efficient use of commercial inventory, minimizing makegoods and oversold units.
- Reconciliation & Verification: Verify aired spots and reconcile discrepancies between log and actual broadcast.
- Coordination with Sales & Programming: Work closely with the sales team to input orders, place spots, and manage preempts or revisions; coordinate with programming for accurate show timing and formats.
- Traffic Reports: Generate logs, affidavits, pre-logs, and post-logs, and prepare weekly/monthly reports as needed.
- Client Communication: Interface with agencies and clients to confirm spot delivery and resolve scheduling issues.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure that logs comply with FCC regulations, advertiser requirements, and station standards.
- Backup & Training: Train and supervise traffic assistants or backup traffic staff as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a television traffic or broadcast operations role.
- Proficiency in WideOrbit Traffic system is required.
- Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
