WEVV-TV, the CBS & FOX affiliate in Evansville, Indiana, is looking for an Account Executive, who will be responsible for the development of revenue through the maintenance, servicing, and development of new and existing accounts.

This individual should have a passion for helping business meet their marketing goals, utilizing television advertising, digital marketing, and promotional campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Upgrading/upselling existing client sales

·         Developing new clients and new business for the stations

·         Generating new revenue from dormant accounts

·         Prospecting, probing, analyzing needs, solving marketing and advertising problems, creating unique promotions, finding solutions and closing sales orders

·         Developing relationships with accounts so that both stations receive more than their proportionate share of the market business

·         Presentations, proposals and other sales related activities as assigned by the Sales Management Team.

·         Managing station’s account lists so that all accounts are covered well at all times

·         Stay current on business/market conditions in order to anticipate changes in the business environment and adapt to those changes

·         Effectively utilizes computers and specialized sales software

·         Establishes and maintains a positive line of communication with all station team departments and members

·         Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: 
Minimum of 1 years of experience in TV Sales
Sales background is a must
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WideOrbit or OSI preferred

WEVV-TV 44News, the FOX and CBS affiliate in Evansville, Indiana, has an opening for a production assistant in the news department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to get their foot inside the door of a growing, commercial, TV news operation. Duties will include operating studio camera, operating the audio board, and other technical tasks associated with the production of a newscast. Hours may include early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires an extreme focus.
• Strong attention to detail is needed.
• Help prepare the news set for live and pre-recorded broadcasts.
• Work with studio lighting
• Operate studio cameras.
• Operator graphics.
• Give talent time cues.
• Perform administrative work during special coverage.

 Minimum 1 year of media/digital experience.
